What Skive is

Skive is a set of purchase-experience simulators, made for entertainment. You browse, build an order, booking, bag or spec, and reach a checkout — without ever completing a purchase. It recreates the enjoyable part of shopping, online; it is not a shop.

Nothing is for sale, no payment is taken

Nothing on Skive is for sale. No order is placed, no booking is made, no ticket is issued and no goods or services are provided. No card details are ever requested and no payment is ever taken — by us or anyone else. The checkout steps exist to recreate the experience, and always stop before payment.

The content you see

All brands, restaurants, listings, properties, products, cars, hosts, venues, artists, prices and reviews shown in Skive are created for the experience. They do not represent real offers and any resemblance to a real business, person or product is coincidental.

Your savings

“Your Savings” is a running total of what each experience would have cost, kept only in your browser’s localStorage. It is a bit of fun, not a financial record, and it never leaves your device. See the privacy policy for details.

Not financial advice

Any figures shown — including mortgage, finance, fee and pricing numbers — are illustrative and for the experience only. They are not financial advice and should not be relied on for any real decision.

Provided as is

Skive is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
